Seaside Camping Hitlist

What is more fabulous than unzipping the tent in the morning to the sound of waves, seabirds and the smell of the sea? This Hitlist is all about Seaside Camping. These gems really are worth a visit!

Skrinkle Bay Camping, near Manorbier, Pembrokeshire

This glorious campsite is nestled on the beautiful cliffs overlooking Skrinkle Haven beach near Manorbier beach, which has been given the Green Coast Award and a Seaside Award (Rural). Here you can wake up to stunning sea views, head down to the beach or stroll to Manorbier village with its lovely shop, café and pub and castle!

Bay Ness Farm, Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire

Look at these views!!! This lovely campsite is set on the North West Side of Robin Hoods Bay and has phenomenal views across the bay. The famous cinder-track footpath is just below the site. There is access from the farm so that you can take the most beautiful of walks into Robin Hoods Bay. Feeling like a bit more? Then you could push on through to Whitby and reward yourself with some fish and chips on the beach! Just beautiful.

Eweleaze Farm, Weymouth

Oooo....Camping Scamping HQ are very, very excited about this fabulous campsite. Located in an area of natural beauty, Eweleaze Farm looks utterly idyllic. Stunning seaviews from most of the site and you have use of a private beach. The farm itself has so much to offer from a shop, bakery, ice cream van, restaurant, crepe barn and so much more. Oodles of family friendly things to do on site too along with a Turkish bath house, Shepherd's hut sauna, massage and therapeutic spa and yoga to ensure that you are completely relaxed and ready to soak in the atmosphere. If you'd prefer not to pitch your own tent, there are bell tents to stay in here too, as well as cottages if you really want to treat yourselves! It really does seem to be too good to be true! The downside is it is only open between the 15th July to the 26th August, so book fast to avoid disappointment!

Lepe Beach Campsite, New Forest, Hampshire

Literally on the beach!!! Now, not many campsites can say that! You can also pitch up in your own tent in the newly field, or there are pre-pitched tents on the beach. Seriously, can you imaging just unzipping the tent in the morning and stepping out onto the the golden sands? Glorious! This one is a relatively basic campsite, but it does it do basics really well. No campervans or caravans here, so it really is super peaceful. Right next to the Lepe Country Park there are plenty of things to discover with the children and you can always head down to the Lepe Beach Café and Shop if you just can't resist the call of the ice cream!

Celtic Camping, Pembrokeshire

Wake up to breathtaking views across the Irish Sea at Celtic Camping. Set in a rustic open-field within a 250 acre site, this feels like it is the best of both worlds - lots of space to pitch up whatever the size of your tent, but lots of facilities as there are also pitches for motorhomes, caravans and campervans. There's even an amphitheater! Direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path means that you will be able to explore this beautiful scenery right from your tent. Perfection!
